Liwo, Jozef Adam

/ School of Computational Sciences

Adam Liwo's research is focused on determining the physical principles that make (bio)macromolecules attain their unique three-dimensional structures. He uses the coarse-grained approach and statistical mechanics to relate atomistic-detailed interactions to net forces that govern molecular motion. He is developoing the physics-based Unified Coarse-Grained Model for large-scale macromolecular simulations.
